I had signed up for online dating through two sites one for Catholic singles and one on eHarmony. Honestly I wasn't expecting anything to come of it. I had talked and met a few guys but no one stood out. I remember I met a guy and I had asked him what he did for fun in college. I don't think he knew the concept of fun because his answer was along the line of "I studied in the library." Umm yeah I only remember studying in the library for Economics a subject which bored me to tears. It was the only place I could concentrate without getting distracted, but I digress. I only did eHarmony on the free communication weekends and around Valentine's Day 2009 they had a free weekend, I remember seeing my husband's name pop up and by the name I knew he was Asian. After reading his profile I was touched that he wrote in the future he could see himself on vacation with a loving wife and kids. That sold me and I sent him a message instantly. We started chatting and decided to meet a few weeks later in the beginning of March. I remember stressing out what to wear for our first date and then he texted me saying you don't have to dress up lol Which was a tad more stressful because I can I look I didn't put too much effort while still not looking dressed up? Fast forward to our date, I don't remember too much what we talked about but at the end we didn't end with a kiss. Instead I shook his hand, hahaha Honestly for me it wasn't the superficial love at first sight. My love grew for him because he is a good and caring person. He can handle all of my random questions (which is sort of a joke between us because I always seem to ask the most random questions when we're traveling together, mostly when we're in a car.) We been on lots of adventures together, Philippines, New York, Canada, Hong Kong, Boston, Baltimore, Vietnam, Washington DC etc. This Valentine's day/weekend will mark 4 years together, 7 months of marriage for us. Of course we have our disagreements and the like, but I can say I can't imagine spending it with anyone else.
